For the fifth year running the ICA welcome Bloomberg New Contemporaries with 55 participants
This year, fifty-five artists join the roster of Bloomberg New Contemporaries, which includes previous exhibitors Tacita Dean, Mona Hatoum, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Mike Nelson. Marking its 65th anniversary, selectors Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Enrico David and Goshka Macuga have chosen works by the most promising artists emerging from UK art schools from nearly 1,400 submissions.
Showcasing final year students, graduates and artists one year out of study, the annual national touring exhibition has consistently acted as a barometer of contemporary art practice, shining a spotlight on the hottest talents of the year.
