Daata Editions

Daata Editions commissions artist video, sound, poetry and web. This new and innovative way to collect art is designed specifically to be a native platform to a new generation of artists who work with moving image and sound. Now in its second iteration, limited edition artworks can be viewed and acquired as digital downloads.

In 2016 New Contemporaries was invited to curate a section of Daata Editions. The selected Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2015 artists invited to create new editions for the Daata Editions series are Melanie Eckersley, Hannah Ford, Jasmine Johnson, Scott Lyman, Scott Mason and Abri de Swardt.

Daata Editions artworks form part of many institutional and private contemporary art collections including the Hammer Contemporary Collection, KIASMA, the Julia Stoschek Collection and the Zabludowicz Collection. Recent Daata Editions projects include Gentrification, an exhibition with new works by Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings at BBAR, Bauer Hotel, Venice, presented in collaboration with Zuecca Projects to coincide with the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale.
