New Contemporaries’ Studio Bursary with One Thoresby Street

New Contemporaries has a national remit and aims to leave legacy projects within the cities that it launches the annual touring exhibition that make a tangible difference to artists’ professional experience.

We are delighted to announce Sophie Giller (BNC 2015) as the first recipient of New Contemporaries’ Studio Bursary with One Thoresby Street, Nottingham. From 1st June 2016, Sophie has access to a free studio, membership of One Thoresby Street and a support structure offered by their community of artists.

Sophie completed her BA Fine Art Painting at Camberwell College of Arts, London in 2014. Since exhibiting in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2015, she has shown at The Assembly House, Leeds with BNC alumna Lydia Brockless, Safehouse 1, Peckham, London and The Raveningham Centre, Norfolk.
