Originally from Denmark, Thomas Hylander has lived and
worked in the UK since the autumn of 1997. In Copenhagen,
he started a cultural magazine and worked as its co-editor
for a couple of years before going to Poland in the spring of
1997. Here he worked as a guest artist in the Academy of
Fine Arts in Warsaw and then on to England, where he
completed a BA degree in Painting at Manchester
Metropolitan University, 1999-2001. He is a recent graduate
from the Royal College of Art and currently lives and works
in London. He has exhibited and has work in private
collections in Denmark, Canada, USA, Warsaw and England.
