Lakshya Bhargava is a painter whose work explores what it means to care, to love, and to be human. Through painting, he searches for a sense of home. Portraying those he holds close becomes an act of gratitude — a way to honour chosen family, creating space for comfort and intimacy.
Exhibitions include Students’ Biennale, Kochi, 2022; Out of Turn, Mag Contemporary, New Delhi, 2024; To Make Home With You, Art & Charlie, Mumbai, 2025; Seattle Art Fair with Gallery Sumukha, 2025; and Art Mumbai with Gallery Sumukha, 2025. He received the Elizabeth Greenshields Grant in 2024 and the Tata Trusts Award in 2022, and is currently pursuing an MFA at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London.
