Bloomberg New Contemporaries Screening at The Ritzy

New Contemporaries screening will provide an opportunity to see this year’s selection of moving image work showcased as part of the exhibition

The event will start with an introduction to New Contemporaries, the artists and their work and a discussion about new media and video work in contemporary art. After the screening, there will be an opportunity to talk to some of the artists about their work.

Each year a panel of guest selectors choose a group of artists to participate in the exhibition. This year, Caroline Achaintre, Elizabeth Price and George Shaw selected 47 artists to be showcased in the annual open submission exhibition. Following the launch at BALTIC Centre For Contemporary Art, Gateshead and BALTIC’s project space at BALTIC 39, the exhibition will tour to Block 336, Brixton and be displayed from 27 January - 3 March 2018.
