BNC 2004, Coach Shed

The Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2004 exhibition took place at Coach Shed as part of the Liverpool Biennial from 18 September until 23 October 2004.

The panel of guest selectors comprising Kate Bush, Dinos Chapman, Tacita Dean, Brian Griffiths has chosen 32 artists for the annual open submission exhibition.

Selected artists for New Contemporaries 2004 are: Oliver Bancroft, Thomas Bangsted, David Blandy, Margarita Bofiliou, Dave Carbone, Lali Chetwynd, Petros Chrisostomou, Joe Clark, James Connelly, Tessa Farmer, Oriana Fox, Sarah Gilder, Anton Goldenstein, Mauricio Guillen, Thomas Hylander, Yvonne Jones, Samson Kambalu, Ahn Kang-hyun, Karoly Keseru, Heidi Kilpelainen, Steven Lowery, Nicky Magliulo, Gary McDonald, Sarah Michael, Thomas Needham, Robert Nicol, David Rowland, Michael Sailstorfer, Margaret Salmon, Heiko Tiemann, Douglas White, and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
