BNC 2002, Static

The Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2001 exhibition took place at Static from 14 September until 27 October 2002.

The panel of guest selectors comprising Graham Gussin, Patrick Keiller, and Sarah Lucas has chosen 33 artists for the annual open submission exhibition.

Selected artists for New Contemporaries 2002 are: Helen Barron, Kiera Bennett, Niall Blankley, Bálint Bolygó, Charlotte Brisland, Kieran Brown, Carol Burtt, Mathieu Copeland, Ruth Ewan, Anna Fasshauer, Jáchym Fleig, Babak Ghazi, Rob Grose, Lesley Halliwell, Darren Marshall, Ben Mayman, Helen McCrorie, Lucinda Metcalfe, Matt O'dell, Raul Ortega, Andrew Palmer, Edd Pearman, Samuel Porritt, Nathaniel Rackowe, Hiraki Sawa, Yak Beow Seah, Daniel Sinsel, John Spiteri, Eva Stenram, John Summers, Angus Wyatt, Isaac Layish and Irit Garty, Tom Hanbury and Meiro Koizumi.
