We are delighted to announce that we have received a significant three-year grant from the Bridget Riley Art Foundation. This award will help us to make a meaningful investment in the professional development support that we offer to artists. The resulting named programme, the Bridget Riley Artists’ Development Programme, will provide an expanded range of activity for New Contemporaries artists including peer-to-peer networking sessions, mentoring, professional development talks, public programming, performances and exhibition tours. The aim of the expanded programme is to further support emerging artists move from education to professionalisation and to help make artists’ practices more sustainable in the long-term. Bridget Riley exhibited as part of Young Contemporaries - the early iteration of New Contemporaries - in 1955.
