Emily Motto Receives Studio Bursary

We are delighted to announce that Emily Motto (BNC 2014) is the first New Contemporaries’ Studio Bursary recipient, in partnership with Bluecoat, Liverpool. Emily will have year-long access to a free studio and one-to-one advice and support provided by both organisations.

Emily Motto (b. 1992, Orpington) studied at the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford. Selected exhibitions include Provisional Conditions at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall, London; Taking Shape: Sculpture on the Verge at Pangaea Sculptors' Centre, London; ON&OFF at Proyecto Medellin, Mexico City; Saatchi New Sensations at Victoria House, London; and the December Mostra at the British School at Rome, Italy. Solo exhibitions include Intervals at NLS Kingston, Jamaica; Holdfast at Chalton Gallery, London; and Postures at Rice+Toye, London.
