AC Larsen is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in London. With a practice that spans sculpture, installation, text-based work and poetry, Larsen’s work is rooted in exploring queer, trans embodiment, within the context of contemporary Britain. Drawing heavily from pop culture, fashion and advertising sloganing, Larsen aims to draw attention to attendant politics and the often insidious power relations that flow through British institutions and class structures. Recent notable group shows include: Working Space, Hypha Studios (2024); Metamorphosis, Stanley Picker Gallery (2023); Toughness & Tenderness, Bermondsey Project Space (2023); Queer Art(ists) Now, Space Station Sixty-Five (2022).
