Join INCURSIONS on a walk around Firstsite's surrounding environment, exploring it as a space where alternative futures can take place. ⁠

This event has been programmed with Firstsite's YAK (Young Art Kommunity) for young people. YAK meets weekly to organise events and activities within the gallery and the wider community.

INCURSIONS is a project by Archie Smith and Kitty McKay based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Part walking event, part radio project, part archive, INCURSIONS hosts weekly walking forums for anyone to attend, building a collective conversation around space and place, memory, friendship and psychogeography in and around the city.
