Equality and diversity are at the core of our ethos and we believe that everyone should have equal access to our work, as well as the full benefits of art and creativity. The continued violence and discrimination against black people across the world is abhorrent and runs counter to everything that we represent. We stand in solidarity with those fighting racial oppression across the globe: Black Lives Matter.

New Contemporaries will do more to tackle inequality and bias. Alongside our trustees and staff we are undergoing work to take action to diversify who engages with and in our work. Further announcements on these initiatives will be made later in the year.
