Applications will be accepted from applicants who:
- Identify as an ‘emerging’ or ‘early career’ artist, and have not had access to similar opportunities;
- Are over 21 (there is no upper age limit);
- Are working with live or time-based media;
- Are not studying a full-time or part-time undergraduate, postgraduate or similar programme during the opportunity dates;
- Are based in the UK, including UK nationals and those with the right to work in the UK,
- And haven’t been part of New Contemporaries exhibition programme before.
At New Contemporaries, we welcome applications from everyone, especially those currently underrepresented in the arts.
Selection Criteria
The selection will be made by representatives from both organisations and will be based on the following criteria:
- The creative ambition of your work and ideas
- Your need for the opportunity
